It is with great sadness that the family of the late Benedict White announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the age of 75 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Barbara, 2 sons: Edwin (Lisa) of Fort McMurray, Dwayne of Stephenville, 4 daughters: Debbie Young (Rod) of Truro, Nova Scotia, Cynthia Lucas of Stephenville, Mechele Scott (Mark) of Truro, Nova Scotia, Trina White (Paul) of Coronation, Alberta, 4 brothers: Lawrence (Myra) of Stephenville, Bertram of Stephenville, Renee (Joan) of Kippens, Abbie (Ann) of Point au Mal, 2 sisters: Madonna Davis (Jim) of Stephenville, Daphnie Michelin of Brampton, Ontario, 4 grandchildren: Bruce Young (Michelle) of Halifax, Suzanne Wasson (Craig) of Pittsburg, Jon-Michael White of Fort McMurray, Chantelle White of Fort McMurray, 4 great-grandchildren: Jessica Young of Halifax, Colby Wasson, Brooklyn Wasson, Rowan Wasson, all of Pittsburg and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph, Cletus, Isaac, Donnie and sister, Theresa Pearson. Visitation took place at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Cremation has taken place and Funeral Service will take place at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville on Thursday, January 31st at 1:30 p.m. with Interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville.
